Where do our Logs Come From

All of our log wood is harvested by us from estates across Kent and Sussex. Firewood that comes from woodland local to the yard we keep for ourselves to further process and then season on into seasoned hardwood logs. We only reserve the finest timber species for ourselves so we have a continual supply of the best possible logs we can.

The lower grades of hardwood and softwood log wood is sold on to other local firewood merchants, with this in mind we are always in a strong position to offer you the best possible hardwood logs in the area.

All our log wood comes from sustainable forestry operations that often exceed forestry commission rules and regulations as to the best possible woodland management practices. All our firewood comes from thinning or coppicing practices, which in turn has has many benefits for all woodland flora and fauna.
